LightPDF reserves the right to change these terms and conditions, and the products, services, prices, and programs mentioned on its site at any time, as well as seek all remedies in law and in equity for any violation of these terms and conditions.

Service

By using our services, you shall accept that we provide two types of service, free and paid plans. If you want to have a premium service, you have to pay accordingly.

OCR VIP Service

You agree that you shall pay for OCR membership service. Subscription mode: 1) OCR service is charged according to the amount of the pages. Once you register the account, you can purchase the number of pages as per your need. After the purchase, you can go to “OCR Member Center” to check the amount of pages, which will be added to the account that you used for purchasing. 2）Used pages: The number of used pages is calculated according to the number of output pages rather than the page number of original file. 3) The maximum file size of OCR VIP service: 30 MB. 4) You will not accomplish OCR recognition if the amount of pages left is less than that you want to process. Then you need to purchase the pages first and then enjoy OCR VIP service. 5) Period of validity: There is no time limitation for the usage of the pages you purchase. 6) Refund policy: Mind that LightPDF provides 7 Days Money-Back Guarantee. If you never use OCR VIP service you purchase, refunds will be approved with proper reasons within 7 days after purchase only. We may not be able to issue a refund for the purchase of over 7 days. Please provide proof of purchase and we will issue the refund. If you have used OCR VIP service, no matter how many pages you have used, we will not refund.

LightPDF VIP Service

You agree that you shall pay for LightPDF VIP membership. Subscription mode: 1) LightPDF VIP has payment options of monthly, and yearly. Once you register the account, you can purchase LightPDF VIP service as per your need. After the purchase, you can go to “LightPDF VIP” to check account information. 2) Refund policy: Mind that LightPDF provides 7 Days Money-Back Guarantee. Please provide proof of purchase, and we will issue the refund with proper reasons within 7 days after purchase. We may not be able to issue a refund over 7 days.

Special Declaration: You can register LightPDF account for free and enjoy the corresponding services. The registered clients can enjoy the free services we provide, however, the paid services, which include but not limited to OCR VIP service and LightPDF VIP service, can only be enjoyed after purchase. And LightPDF VIP account can be used for desktop and mobile PDF editing program. What’s more, if you purchase a certain type of paid service, you can only enjoy that service, rather than other paid services or all paid services.

LightPDF has the right to change the subscription mode, standard, methods, and prices, and charge for free service in the future.

Autorenewal

Subscription plan: We provide two subscription plans, Monthly Subscription and Annual Subscription. Please confirm the subscription plan you choose before paying.

Payment: After confirming your purchase, payment will be made through your account.

Renewal: You will be automatically charged 24 hours prior to the expiration of each billing cycle.

Cancellation of renewal: You can cancel your subscription at least 24 hours prior to the expiration of the existing plan. Check the detailed explanation of autorenewal in LightPDF Payment Terms.

How to cancel a subscription from Apple?

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap your name.
3. Tap Subscriptions.
4. Tap the subscription that you want to manage.
5. Tap Cancel Subscription.

How to cancel a subscription from Google Play?

1. Go to play.google.com.
2. Sign in to the correct Google Account.
3. At the left, click My subscriptions.
4. Select the subscription you want to cancel.
5. Click Manage and Cancel subscription.

Changes in Fees

We may change the price of any Paid Service from time to time, and add new fees and charges for certain features or to reflect a change in business or legal rules, but we will provide you with advance notice of changes in recurring subscription fees. Any increase in charges for the same Paid Service would not apply until the expiration of your then current billing cycle, unless otherwise specifically provided in our notice to you, and would become effective no sooner than the next time you would be charged for that Paid Service. If you do not agree to pay the new price or other applicable charges, you may elect not to renew the Paid Service subscription before the price change goes into effect, which cancellation would be effective at the expiration of your then current billing cycle. See “Cancellation” below for information on how to cancel a Paid Service subscription.

Cancellation of a Paid Service Subscription

You may elect to cancel a Paid Service at any time. Any cancellation of a Paid Service will be effective as of the end of the then-current billing period and subject to our Refund Policy.

Download Software

LightPDF makes certain software products available via the LightPDF website. Although you are free to download any software presented there, you are not allowed to reproduce or redistribute it. The license for the software is governed by the laws of China and the laws of your country.

Trademarks

“LightPDF” is the registered trademark of Wangxu Technology Co.,Ltd., in Shenzhen, China. The LightPDF trademark is severely prohibited from being used on any product or service which does not belong to LightPDF unless it is used with our prior written permission. Otherwise, we will constitute trademark infringement and unfair competition in violation of the law.
